These Terms of Use govern your use of rdclaim.co.uk (the "Site"). By using this Site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Information only — not professional advice
The content and tools on this Site are provided for general information purposes only. Nothing on this Site constitutes tax, financial, legal, or professional advice. The eligibility grader produces indicative estimates based on your answers and typical industry data — it is not a professional determination of your R&D tax relief eligibility.
You should always seek independent professional advice before making any decisions based on information obtained from this Site. RDClaim accepts no liability for any decisions made on the basis of information provided here.
2. Accuracy of information
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that scheme rates, rules, and other information on this Site are accurate and current. However, R&D tax relief rules change frequently and we cannot guarantee that all information is up to date at the time you access it. The date of last verification is displayed on relevant pages.
We accept no liability for any loss arising from reliance on information that has become outdated since our last verification.
3. Affiliate disclosure
This Site operates as a marketing introducer. When you request a specialist assessment, we connect you with our specialist partner firm. We may receive a referral fee if an introduction results in a completed R&D tax relief claim. This fee is paid by the specialist firm, not by you.
This commercial relationship does not affect the independence of our eligibility assessment. Our tool applies the same logic regardless of whether you proceed to a referral.
4. The eligibility grader
The eligibility grader is provided as a free tool to help you understand whether R&D tax relief may be relevant to your business. By using the grader, you acknowledge that:
- The result is an indication only, not a professional determination
- The estimated claim value is based on typical industry data and may not reflect your actual claim
- A professional assessment is required to confirm eligibility
- HMRC makes the final determination on all claims
5. Specialist assessments
When you request a free specialist assessment, you are being introduced to an independent specialist firm. RDClaim is not a party to any agreement between you and that firm. The specialist firm's own terms and conditions apply to any engagement with them.
Specialist assessments are conducted on a no-win-no-fee basis — you will not be charged unless a successful claim is made. This arrangement is between you and the specialist firm.
6. Intellectual property
All content on this Site, including text, tool logic, and design, is the property of RDClaim. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this Site without our written permission.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RDClaim excludes all liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of this Site, including but not limited to any reliance on the eligibility tool results or any information provided on the Site.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update. Continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
